I am asking for a friend because I don't know. He has a dcs remote commander and I can not get it to work with a PS2 engine, I did Factory reset with my TIU and then with the commander (snd,dir,-) and also just changed the address to 1 but it will not fire up. I tried one of mine and its works with PS3 but not PS2 all the lights flash on the base but will not fire up. Please help

I can't help you, except to say that I have a PS2 3V locomotive that works with the remote commander.
Thanks Kieth I have tried both ps2 3v and ps2 5v and no go. someone will have the answer.
Adress must be zero. Do a factory reset with the TIU, then try with the remote commander. You can't do a SND DIR "-" reset with a a PS2 loco. The DSP code wasn't updated until about 2013 in PS3 locos.
