Do you own a pink engine and why

I can see those girly steam sissy's having a thing for pink, but not us rugged diesel-electric guys.

Not only do we own a pink engine and caboose, I made them for my now 10 year old daughter.  The engine was my 218 PW diesel repaired and rewired.  The caboose was also a PW common caboose.  Here are a couple of pics:

The pink UP "Big Girl" 4-8-8-4 is getting to be a tempting project...but it needs to be cheap, like HO cheap.

despite having two older sisters, looks as though my dad at age 3 got to wear shorts for this 1916 photo.

perhaps it depended somewhat on who figuratively wore the pants in the family.

This thread has received so much attention, it will get to the point owners of pink engines will have to register them, and undergo a background check.
