I'm 56 and have no major medical issues.  That being said, I've been preparing for end-of-life to make things easy for my daughter.  I've sold my 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner, cashed in all of my US savings bonds, have my 2 drum kits up for sale, sold my silver and gold coins, consolidated my bank accounts, prepared my will/living will/power of attorney, stopped acquiring animals, settled my wife's estate with any recipients, and left instructions to contact Cabin Fever Auctions to liquidate my trains.

I'm not doom-and-gloom, and I am still hoping for many years, but you never know.

You have covered all the bases. When your time comes, you'll rest in peace.

Sorry, but IMO, you are doom and gloom. It is your right to be like that. But if you are in average health for a 56 year old, that's a lot of time to spend without the Roadrunner. Instructions to contact an Cabin Fever (or some other reputable place to dispose of trains) is smart.

Yep, I sure have. Due to an IRS problem I was pushed into selling multiple items.
1) Lionel Century Club M10000
2)Lionel Standard Gauge Commodore Vanderbilt

I sold my MTH Pennsy S-1because the sides kept falling off.
I sold my Brute since it was too big for my layout(now I have a place to run it).

The only one of these I have repurchased is the Vanderbilt.

Doing some of that regretting right now since I am having a little trouble finding a decent set of MPC MoPac GP-20s (8562/8565) together for a reasonable price.

But, then, I wouldn't have some of the other pieces I have now had I not sold that part of my collection years ago. . . .

I have a few of these I'd like to sell. I think I have 2 of the dummies and 1 powered unit. (Can't remember which model number is which.) I live in St Louis if you're in the area and want to see them. Thanks!

Hello, Ethan.  I'd love to talk with you about these, but let's not do it in the thread.   My email is in my profile.  Please email me!

I don't want to reply in the thread, but I keep trying to send you an email and it keeps getting blocked. For some reason I can't send you a private message either. Can you send me an email or private message instead?
