Have You Ever Sold Any Of Your Trains Or Accessories And Later Regretted Selling Them?

I never have with trains.  I have a few other items I have let go of in life that I wish I had back, but interestingly never any of my trains.

Sorry, but IMO, you are doom and gloom. It is your right to be like that. But if you are in average health for a 56 year old, that's a lot of time to spend without the Roadrunner. Instructions to contact an Cabin Fever (or some other reputable place to dispose of trains) is smart.

I sold off an MTH Premier Railway Post Office car in Rock Island several years ago.  Several months ago, I decided that the Rock Island was a good second railroad to start collecting.

I have a small layout and budget, so I do sometimes sell stuff to buy different stuff. But, I regret selling that genset ... its three prime mover effect and smooth low speed operation was cool on my close-up, against the walls layouts.

Yep, I sure have. Due to an IRS problem I was pushed into selling multiple items.
1) Lionel Century Club M10000
2)Lionel Standard Gauge Commodore Vanderbilt

I sold my MTH Pennsy S-1because the sides kept falling off.
I sold my Brute since it was too big for my layout(now I have a place to run it).

The only one of these I have repurchased is the Vanderbilt.

I did sell a Lionel MPC  N&W Class "J" Steamer, and later regretted selling it.  Fortunately, LTI later made the "J" in a command-equipped version.

Yes!  And then end up buying them again a few years later.  I sold off a K Line Coca Cola cars collection and ended up seeking out and rebuying three favorites.
