HELP! With Lionel’s LED Fastrack | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

My son-in-law and I both have lots of conventional power tubular track for our Postwar Lionel Trains. He recently bought an oval of the LED light-up fastrack - he said it came with no instructions and just a place for a power plug in one straight track section- any idea if we can run this with our conventional power? If not what is needed as far as transformer and type of engine? Any help is greatly appreciated we’d like to get them up here around the Christmas tree Thanksgiving weekend - thank you
