You don't. Two channels are fixed channels and have no variable capability.
You can connect a Z-4000 transformer to those with the remote receiver and use the Z4K tracks to vary the voltage.
Get this book, it will be a great help to you in using your DCS system.

You use the transformer handle supplying power to the tiu or as gunrunner has pointed out the Z-4000 receiver, However if your power supply is a brick you can't do it. Fixed 1 & 2 are straight through connections.. what goes in come out the other side with no change in voltage.
