Hi guys,

I just wanted to share my Postwar layout.  I have been slowly working on it for almost 15 years.  It's not a big space, but I was able to get 9 trains plus the 50 Gang Car running at the same time.  If I had the floor level layout going (I built that for kids) I could have another 2 trains running.

I have a silver 395 coming to fill the blank space with wires coming out next to the #97 Coal Elevator.  I also have a #217 A-B B&M on the way to replace the 1055 on top.  The 1055 cannot handle the consist (wheels slip and overheats after a bit).

I am also going to add another bumper track where the train rug is hanging on the wall and buy a #69 Maintenance Car to run on it.  I still need to wire up the 450 Signal Bridge also.

Wow Mike, that brings back lots of fond memories. Really nice setup for sure. When you get them all running, does the neighbourhood brownout at all? And it looks like you have cornered pretty well all the best PW accessories too.

The lights only dim slightly.  lol.

There are only a few big accessories I still need.  #115, 175, 192, 315 & 350.

Thank you again everyone for the compliments!  It means a lot.

Mike, I keep looking at the two videos! more exciting each time!
The only thing I didn’t see (maybe just my search)  is the illusive PW #192 operating tower, but other than the burning switch tower(which always freaks me out! Lol)  it really is the ultimate  postwar layout!  Fantastic!

Thank you very much!  I do not have the #192.  It can be hard to find and usually somewhat expensive.  I also need the #115, 175, 315 & 350.   I have the 375 on the floor layout.   Hopefully over the next 2 or 3 years I will be able to add these to my layout.

I found the burning switch tower and the smoking diner when I was watching a Lionel video.  I thought they were awesome and had to get them.  Same with the changing billboard. lol
