Can't believe the number of orders already. This set has a VERY SHORT ORDERING DEADLINE. KEEP THOSE ORDERS/DEPOSITS COMING. The set will be packaged here in the USA, inspected for quality control and tested. Those of you who ordered the extra car we will pre pack it in the master carton along with the basic set. At the rate these are selling we may hit the number before the cut off date.

THANKS all you guys on behalf of the club! Looks like our first tinplate set is going to be hit.

regards

LOUIE

Thanks,

Walt

the date is good so far because tin is made in a different plant. however if there is a paint issue or something i will reject the product in a second. i have refused items as many as 7 times but the tin set will be inspected and packaged here in the USA. next they have been known to short us as much as 10 to 12 percent because of parts shortages.

best regards

Absolutely!!

Do not know how this will impact delivery to us, but it sounds like progress is being made.  I would rather have a set this attractive done right rather than done "now".

Seems like Lou is a stern task master.

Keep up the good work!

I'm sure there's a Chinese phrase uttered at the plant for "Oh, no! Not Lou AGAIN!"

Perhaps the delivery dates should have built-in buffers rather than overly-optimistic arrivals.  And as to Quality Control, well, I just don't buy any excuses for Tinplate given the tiny production runs.  Perhaps some shipping damage is inevitable, but factory flaws are not.
