Is the Y3 the first, and so far only, Lionel AF engine to have Sequence Control? Thank you. Can we expect the SD70ACe and future Legacy equipped AF engines to have it as well?

My U33C's (second run), Challengers and Texas Special PA set all have it too I believe...
Ben
If you would please try that with them and let us know. Thanks. I don't see anything about it in either my SP U33c or Gray UP Challenger User Manuals. Also when I tried activating it (held AUX1 down for >3 seconds), nothing happened. However, having watched a couple of product videos about engines that have it, this looks like a fun operating feature.
I mentioned that the engine descriptions on Lionel's site was not immediately clear on this. If you download the manuals, you can figure it out.
Mike R. from Lionel suggested that I just watch all the videos they put out on each engine. My thought was that it required another 20 minutes per engine. In the interest of marketing, a clear and complete description would be nice.
I believe the first Lionel engine to have this feature is the Vision Line 700e Hudson from the 2010 catalog. I have that engine and it does have sequence control. So does my Lionel GP9 (2012), MR S3 4-8-4 (2010 or 11) and Southern Crescent (2012).
I may have made an error in my response as I opened this thread from the Recent Posts column and didn't realize I was in the S-scale subform. I was thinking this was a general question about O-scale. My appologies.
