Anyone run into the issue of having only prewar trains with conventional power and then buying Lionel lighted Christmas track that doesn't come with the power transformer (I believe they call it a "Wall-Wart"?) I have no interest in the new wireless and D/C engines and controls, but here's a Mod I did for my son-in-law that ran into the problem I mentioned above; it let's him easily use either an D/C or A/C power feed. If there's an easier way to do this other than purchasing the "wall wart" please let me know!!
