Lionel MOW Speeder Concerns?

Hi everyone, I just got my Lionel MOW Speeder (page 59, 2014 Lionel Signature catalog) from Nassau Hobby (Thanks guys for great price!) and since I'm doing some track work on my layout and won't be running it right away, I thought I would ask you Forumites if any of you have this one or any other of Lionel's speeders and if there is anything I should be concerned about? I'm talking about overheating or getting hung-up on switches etc. I am also going to put the red Milwaukee Road herald on it somewhere. Any suggestions? I thank all of you in advance for your replies.
