Here are some pics that disappeared when we moved to the new Server. A great new accessory and my 40th birthday present in 93.
Wow....and now I'm going to be 60 in June!

I bought the steam clean and wheel grind shop last year sealed in the box. I just opened it recently to check it out. Cant wait to set it up.
Mark.....It comes with 2 spotting lights, but has places for 4. I picked up 2 extras at York years ago.
Peter
Thanks Peter, I will have to pick some extra ones up.
I remember the poll Gunnrunner John did a short time ago. About 60% still run post war only. That includes me.

hello guys and gals........
Was the Lionel #9163 Santa Fe caboose used in any of the sets ? The 9163 is a red porthole caboose made 1973(i think). I am looking for one to go with my Williams NW-2.

I was at a train meet recently, and a gentleman had the Pennsylvania Broadway Limited set for sale. It was in the original set box and looked like it had hardly been used. He said that he didn't want to take it home again so if I gave him $80.00 I could have it. So it went home with me. I lubed the engine and removed the tender shell. The SOS board was loose in the shell and the foam deteriorated. The wiring looked good and there was no visible damage to the board, so I cleaned things up and remounted the board. Alas, the SOS doesn't work. Oh, well! Still a nice set and it runs and smokes well.

I realize this was an older post, but I just checked and mine came with all 4.
One of the coolest modern accessories!

This thread has got to be one of my all time favs!! Luckily over the years, I have concentrated on MPC, and own just about all the trains in the photos, but these trains are so reliable and fun to operate! Dont get me wrong, I love my PWC with TMCC and CC Collections, but MPC is still one of the best! Just cant beat the value
Long live this thread :-)
And oh yes, no way I could not include Lionel Trains Inc.'s reissue of the scale Hudson and the glamorous Rail Chief set from 1990.
