I have to inform all of our tinplate wheel customers that our die caster is closing shop as of now.
We are suspending sales of dealer pricing until we can find a small lot caster @ reasonable prices.
Retail sales will continue at the same current pricing. (STD. wheels $44.00 a set of 4, and "O" wheels, $40.00 a set of 4 ).until inventory runs out.
Our machine shop just finished the new mold for the Lionel "O" thin rimmed wheels, and now may sit in limbo for a while.
P.S. The Lionel GG-1 Legacy truck frame is still being worked on for the 3rd time, and will not be hindered by this casting issue.( It is a rubber mold cast issue as regards shrinkage. ) We just want to get it right before releasing. See you in York next week. Harry
