Recently, I've been checking out some of the threads, re: the high end O scale products, available. I've not really paid much attention, to this segment of the hobby, in the past. A few manufacturers have been mentioned, but there might be more of them(high end manufacturers) out there.

Please provide the names of the high end O scale manufacturers, pertinent business experience; plus, how would you rank them, in terms of quality etc. and why do you feel they deserve that ranking?

Thanks,

Rick

Erik,

Thanks for your contributions; I've noted your participation, here; and, have admired some of your models. Your Burlington E unit(s)(I think they're yours) are probably one of the nicest looking O scale models, I've seen.

Currently, I'm into craft beer; locally we have some exceptional brews. There is a useful online rating system that allows an interested person, to get a glimpse of what's available. It's subjective of course, but it gives you a starting point.

Thanks,

Rick

I apologize for deletion of my posts. The content I shared was personal intellectual property and I use them for educational purposes. I am happy sharing the materials with the public and encourage it.

Sadly in the past public posters will "discredit" or attempt to "discredit" a fine model based on unsubstantiated evidence. Case and point here. I took the photo in a home made HO scale sized studio made of white cardboard that is NOT level. The model in question does not lean. My apologies for stepping out of this conversation.

Just to reinstate what I said. The model in question DOES NOT LEAN. It is my studio with stacked white cardboard boxes. And if it did Key would correct it; they stand behind their models.

Rick, you should check out a book titled "Brass Model Trains" hard copy and has color photos.  The book attempts to list all scales brass models built, costs, year etc.

Erik, a public forum is just that open to both praise and criticism.  I love my Key challenger just the same.  Negative stuff doesn't deter me from posting.  Just ask Rick B., I tried to convince him the OMI stuff has just as much presence as the real thing but just tinier version.
