need directions for device

I bought this device last year to control the on and off action of a ferris wheel.  Worked great.  It controls how long the device allows power to go to the ferris wheel and how long it cycles off.

Luckily I kept all of the wires connected.  Needed a 12V DC power supply  for power to the controller and power going to the ferris wheel I used a 4.5V wall-wort.  I want to change the device that it controls for this year's CHristmas Layout.

Unfortunately I cannot find the directions for how to change the settings.  As you can see in the photos below, I do know how to turn it on and it still has the settings from last year.  I want to change those settings but don't remember how.

Can someone provide for me the directions for this device?

This shows that the device is powered.  NOt sure what the blue light means though.  I forgot that.  I think it means that the device is forwarding on power to the ferris wheel that it's controlling, but not sure of that.

Shows the device with the blue light off.  I think that means that no power is going to the ferris wheel it's controlling and the timer is how long to keep that power off.

  • Size: 65mm*36mm*18mm
  • Output Capacity: DC 5V~30V,AC220V10A
  • Quiescent Current: 20mA
  • Working Current: 50mA
  • Working Voltage: DC12V（fluctuate between 10V~16V won't be affected
  • Operating Temperature: -40℃~85℃
  • 1 x Timer Relay Module

Press K1 till display stops flashing, then press K2 to change decimal point in order to select time range.The third decimal point indicates 0 to 999 minutes, the second decimal point indicates 0 to 99.9 seconds. No decimal point indicates 0 to 999 seconds.

Long pressing K2 can turn on/off the display.

Instruction:

After power on, the timer will start to countdown. When time is up, relay will work.

Time Setting

K1 cycle includes 6 steps. Step 1,2,3 are setting "ON" time, step 4,5,6 are setting "OFF" time.

1, Press K1, the first digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

2, Press K1, the second digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

3, Press K1, the third digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

4, Press K1, the first digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

5, Press K1, the second digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

6, Press K1, the third digit flashes, press K2 to change the number;

Vern: thanks for those directions!!!  I was planning on coming here and asking what the limits are for passing AC thru the device.  Your reply answered that!

The directions that you supplied also explained how to change the settings.  PERFECT

I will print them out and put them somewhere safe this time - somewhere where I'll be able to find them in the future instead of losing them again.

I would look at the ones on importer websites.  Many of them have instructions.

For example,

Stan had posted a trolley timer for an MTH Bump N Go trolley that I was interested in making.  He posted a photo of one that he bought on eBay and I found the exact same one on Amazon, but it didn't have any directions.  However many of the importer websites had them so I printed them from one of those.

From that description it says:

Timing Range: 0.1seconds to 999 minutes(continuously adjustable)


That means ON of OFF.

All the instructions for the various modes were described there.  You should be able to find the one pictured in this thread on a site like that as well, but I suspect the one here (like the one I bought) has an ON or OFF maximum of 999 seconds too.
