New Layout for 2023, seeking suggestions | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Attached is my new layout space. I have left 3-4 ft for walking around the layout. The layout itself is "L" shape. I would greatly appreciate the input of some of the experts from the forum members. My goal is 3-4 interconnecting independent loops (using Lionel tubular 072, 060 (k-line), 054, and only 072 switches. Finally, a totally elevated "Chicago Loop" using "Super O" . This is a toy train layout using most postwar and modern accessories. But I'd still like to run the Big Boy and 18" passenger cars on some portions.

PS: I have RR Track and SCARM software.

Inclines or flat?

Will you store trains on a portion of the layout?

My first thought was different "villages" for the accessories of different eras, with the long cars running around the edge.

I'm open to suggestions, but initially I was only going to elevate my "Chicago Loop".
