HIGH PLAINS 3 RAILERS working on layout expansion for the Model Train Expo at the Boulder County Fairgrounds this December.
Layout has been expanded out another 8 ft. to bring it to 32 ft.
Layout is only 10ft wide on the patio ,will be 14ft wide at the show.
Scenery ,building,skirt and SNOW! will all be added at the show.
Had fun running trains day and night outside for the pass two weeks.
It rained in the middle of the week but we had plenty of tarps.

Very nice. Can't wait to see you at the Boulder Train show in December. It will be nice that you get to run 3 days since this show goes on Friday also.
Your setter is awesome, Ive got an English and would love to have an Irish Setter. I like your modular layout setup, the patio is a great idea

Thanks Matt ! That setter is a key player on our team. He provides 24/7 security when were not home. And keeps squirrels,cats and other pest off our main lines.
The folding table legs were custom made out of aluminum about 20 years ago. There 42 '' long. The layout was made at a level comfortable for us.
When the price of aluminum shot up years ago we converted to wood legs on the extentions. All are adjustable. Plenty of uneven floors out there.

Yes, I can tell the setter really takes an active part. Our little terrier mutt gets involved with the trains; barks at them continuously when I run them. lol
