Problem with command-controlled Culvert Unloader

Without going into detail about how it got that way, when powered on, my command-controlled culvert unloader (6-82030) just makes a ratcheting sound (clutch slipping?). The magnet is wound up tight against the trolley, and doesn't move back and forth. Is there a way to reset the internal programming of the culvert unloader for correct sequence of operations?
