I wanted to see if anybody has done this before I start taking things apart.
I picked up one of the new MTH Centerflow hoppers. The detail is awesome, but the trucks suck. The wheels seem to bind on curves, no matter what size, they don't roll freely, and the couplers just don't center all that well.
Are the newer Lionel trucks, like the ones on the ps-1,ps-2 cars a direct fit?
I could just try it, but I hate takin apart cars with all these delicate details as it is.
