Ladies & Gentlemen,

I am looking to purchase the Red & White Christmas Cabin Caboose, with Merry Christmas and the Santa Face on it, to run with my Christmas Box Car Train.  For some reason I am unable to find it right now, some help would be appreciated, very much.

Gentlemen,

Thanks much for trying to help, the N6 with the operating Santa is a cool caboose no doubt about it, however I am looking for the Pennsy type Cabin Santa Caboose, and it seem to be very hard to find now, I know they exit but I can not remember who made them.  My Christmas Box Car Train has about 18-20 Box Cars on it from down thru the years, and I would like the little Red Santa Cabin Caboose to pull behind them.  Soon I will need to start running it on the larger 1st level, the small Cabin Caboose will keep it on the 2nd level for at least another Christmas.

Dave, the MTH Santa caboose I linked you to above wasn't the one?  What do you mean when you say "cabin caboose?"  The PRR called their cabooses "cabin cars," so, is it a PRR porthole-type caboose that you are referring to?  Lionel has made many Christmas versions of its NC5 porthole caboose, if that is what you mean.  I don't specifically recall any having Santa on the side, though.

RaidoRon,

Well the North Pole Central Christmas Caboose finally arrived and it works out real well. The Cabin Caboose is about 3/4 the size of the newly purchased Red &  Green Christmas Caboose.  My wife likes the green on this caboose so I will add it to the Christmas Box Car train, however I am still looking for the Merrry Christmas Cabin Caboose with the Santa face on it also.

That's a nice caboose, Dave!  It is very cheerful.  I think that one is a break-up item from one of the recent Lionel Christmas sets.  I am still trying to figure out which caboose you refer to with the Santa face, though.  I think I linked you a couple photos of an MTH caboose above that fit the description, but you said neither were the one you were thinking of.  Either way, this one looks great & will do great service at the end of your Christmas train.  I have collected too many Christmas box cars & rolling stock pieces,  so many that I could never run them on one train.  But it is the one O-gauge subcategory I really enjoy, & paying tribute to my favorite time & day of the year.  Enjoy!!

RadioRon,

Thanks for trying to help me out with the Christmas Cabin Caboose, the woodside O Gauge red & black Cabin Caboose with the white Merry Christmas over Santa's Face, may have been custom made.  I did see a G Gauge Cabin Caboose just recently exactly like it, same red caboose with black roof, and white lettering with white Santa face.

It maybe that I am looking for something that was custom made, however I really though Lionel or MTH made one in O Gauge.
