I had purchased parts from them at YORK and ALLENTOWN. Good to deal with.
S&W, for second I thought I was on the wrong forum! LAZ, is it drop off only or do they do mail in as well, do you know?
Hi DAN, You can give them a call on that question. I just purchased parts at shows and on line. Here is there site.
I buy parts from them all the time and had a zw fixed by them. I highly recommend them

S&W is local to me and I have used them for several repair projects. They do quality work at reasonable prices and are one of Lionel's oldest certified service stations. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Give Bill a call and you will not be disappointed.
Too bad you are not local because Bill has a great layout at the shop.

Thanks for the info.
Yes, Bill Harrison is a quality fella who was located for many years near New Orleans. Long time in business with parts and repair. Used to have nice trains for sale as well.
He was very helpful to me when I was first getting into trains at my hobby shop.
I visited the www.sandwparts.com website tonight, and found this message:
"S & W Parts Supply is closed due to a major fire."
I've known Bill for awhile, and he's good people. I hope he and his family escaped uninjured, and I'll be sending some positive thoughts and energy in his general direction.

Yes I heard I am so sorry. Nick
Sorry to hear about the fire. Bill has always been first class to deal with.
Guys...we have a specific thread going right now about the S & W Parts fire...in an effort to make it easier for folks to find all of the replies and well wishes, please post on that thread...
Thanks,
Alan
