Thanks so much for all the well wishes from everyone.    I went into the ER at French Hospital in San Luis Obispo on Friday Afternoon.  Its one of the best Cardiac Hospitals around.     The kept my heart monitored overnight, and put in a pacemaker on sat AM.   Then kept there for observation till sunday afternoon.    So far, so good.   Almost no pain from the operation now, and heartbeat up to a normal level.   Still I have to take it easy, and no lifting for a while.

Meanwhile, pallets of trains keep arriving, and while I should be taking a week off, I need to get as much shipped as I can...Ive got new help coming over, so hopefully it will all work out.   The ATlas auto carriers need to get shipped, along with all the day-to day orders.

MTH RS-11's and Bay Window cabooses arriving tomorrow.  HAvent even had time to send out invoices for them yet.  Maybe tomorrow...

Then a week or so later Atlas RSD-15's, Amfleet sets, and some of the P-42's will arrive.    Its honestly just too much at once, but will deal with it the best I can.

Thanks again for everyones support..

As someone who's already had two replacements of implantable cardiac devices (the batteries don't last forever), I can tell you that the first time requires the most care on your part.  The leads that have been implanted into your heart need time to firmly attach to your heart muscle so that they make a near permanent connection.  With the later replacements, you only need to wait for the incisions to heal well.

So, do yourself and your doctors a favor and avoid using/moving that left arm as much as possible.  Then, all will be well for everyone going forward.

Hi Beth.  Just please go slow for a couple of weeks.  Please let your body heal at it's own pace and soon you'll forget about that thing in your upper left shoulder.   It does take a body a little of (getting use to it). And please  remember that your heart  will be monored 24/7.    And another thing for you not to worry about.  Your people are receiving their orders each day. Mine is scheduled for delivery today (Tues.)  Thanks again for everything, your friend Tommy.
