Time to send in a few PS2 engines for repairs...

If someone has known capabilities and they have rendered aid in the past, loyalty very much enters into the picture.  Other considerations include price and time for repairs.

I'm personally pretty backed up right now, so prompt wouldn't be in the cards.

I like Mike Brouse at Catoctin Mountain Trains. Mike does have a family and job so he does repairs when he has time. Regardless, he does excellent work and is one heck of a nice guy. I've never waited much more than a month for my items to be returned to me but he may be a bit backed up considering this time of the year. 

I have to recommend G. He got my boards in and returned fast. The price was good too. He still helps here for free. I have about four more items gathered to go to him soon. I was waiting for after the holiday rush.

Personally I would try gunrunnerjohn or GGG from here on the forum. They have also been quite helpful to me here, especially GRJ. Since GRJ said he is pretty well backed up that helps with the choice, unless of course GGG is too busy as well. GGG also does component level repairs when possible, so that could also be a savings for you. I imagine GRJ could also do these, but not sure if he would or does? Many here have reported being very happy working with both of these guys. Marty Fitzhenry is another excellent repair guy. I think he has stated he does repairs for his dealer, but I really don't know if he takes on things like this from forum members? If they are all too busy, I think any one of these guys would be well worth waiting for to do your repairs.
