TMCC AMC wiring

Which is the Lionel model # of your crane? My guess would be the wiring would be the same for both the magnet and magnetless versions of the crane, with the only difference being you would omit the wires to turn the electromagnet on and off for your version.

 

I was able to locate the manual for the AMC/ARC Gantry Crane here, and it might be a helpful starting point.

Bob if you look at page 16 just eliminate the wire that's connected to Light1 on the right of the picture.

Thanks John, I tried everything but don't know how to fix my e-mail. Also tried to hook up my crane and all I get is a hum. The directions leave a lot to be desired for an old man to understand. Just figuring out how to program the AMC is confusing. They do have a number to call. Guess I will call on Monday.

Thanks to John and Steve. Also a good nights sleep and reading the instructions again and following the directions on programing, got everything working. The hum was from not having the voltage set high enough.
