Does anyone have any insight on what relay should be used to run (2) MTH PS1 smoke units triggered by a TAS or ERR TMCC setup? I'm converting an MTH Centipede and I'm at that point in the install. The voltage from the board's smoke output is 10VAC with the transformer set at 18VAC. I haven't determined supplied current yet. I figured someone has done it before and may know? Any help will be appreciated.

I'd stick a diode and a 100uf capacitor on the smoke output from the R2LC and use a common and cheap 12VDC relay.
Here's a suitable relay at Digikey for 54 cents.

So you’re saying to install a 100uf capacitor across 3&4 to 5&6 and use a diode in series to rectify voltage into DC to operate 12VDC relay? Ha! I had just pulled a 12VDC relay out of my parts bin before reading your suggestion and I was planning on doing just that. I already soldered a smaller cap to the R2LC last night. But if you suggest a larger one, then I might change it out. Great minds think alike. Have you done it this way before? Any drawbacks?

Sounds good, it's a simple fix, even cheaper if you already have the relay.
