I'm working on a little LionChief 0-8-0 switcher with a common complaint: She's waddling down the track at slower speeds and more pronounced on curves. Not surprisingly, it requires # 1 and #4 driver replacement. They look like warped records in the test cradle. I usually don't mess with the wheel sets, but in this case there is no other way around it. Parts are on the way. Have any of you techs replaced these? Do they just drop in after you pull the shoulder bolts and lower gear cover?
