Wireless cam suggestion?

The cameras are neat! I think GRJ may have something like this and I believe it's a Mobius. Maybe he will be by with the details. Maybe a search for Mobius would provide more info as well. That is unless he has found something else by now that is even better, it has been a couple of years since he posted about that.

Watching videos of layouts like this make me want to tear mine down and start over! That is a Very Nice layout she has there!! I would certainly love to have something like that myself!!! It really puts mine to shame.

The Mobius is a camera that records on a microSD card.  It's an excellent camera for riding around on the train and showing the engineer's view, or perhaps the brakeman in the caboose.

There are a number of little cameras that broadcast on 2.4ghz to a dedicated base, I have several.  I use this one in a couple of units.  The problem with these units is there is too much interference generated as the train moves so you don't always have a quality picture.  They're way better than nothing, I we use this for modular shows being sent to a little monitor.  I am continually on the search for something better that has digital transmission to eliminate the video quality issues.
