These locomotives were commonly seen pulling the SP Peninsula Commuter trains between San Francisco and San Jose, CA. This would be a re-release as Lionel did the Southern Pacific H-24-66 FM TM in Legacy in the 2014 catalog and I can't find one anywhere!

You missed out, but Beth at Public Delivery Track just had a custom run MTH Premier SP Train Master in bloody nose. They are unfortunately all sold out.
I'd like to see more big diesels (U50C, Centennial's) and turbines. Hopefully they bought MTH's tooling for those

I didn’t feel like reading through this whole thread so forgive me if it’s been mentioned, an O scale N&W CF & CG caboose!!!
You’d think with all the N&W engines out there, we’d have a legitimate steam era scale caboose. For that matter, the Virginian RR had them, also. If the popularity of “FANTASY” paint schemes continues, paint them for any RR! Come on for goodness sakes!
My wish is for a Scale Legacy RS3 in multiple road names. With the PRR being one of them of course. I believe that could be doable for Lionel without too much trouble.

A better RTR Blue Comet set. The previous one was very meh and if Lionel has the MTH tooling for the bantam or imperail that would be a great improvement.
How about a Milwaukee Road 4-4-2 Hiawatha?? Us Milwaukee fans would like that.
How about this, locomotives that are painted the right color? Is that an option? If so I'd sign up for that!!!
Most likely will see Pere Marquette Berks again considering it's the 20th anniversary of Polar. The Hiawatha in legacy would be cool to see to. As a Reading and Northern fan I would also like to see some of their switcher engines done too.

Maryland and Pennsylvania stuff would be cool. A North Pole central f3 lionchief passenger set would be cool. Also, anything csx, b&o, chessie, and wm would be nice.

Once again I’m requesting a scale sized SD7 and/or SD9. Dozens of roads and big production numbers. What’s not to like? 1st gen diesels are pretty cool and this engine hasn’t been produced by Lionel ever. Those so called SD’s they produced on a GP7/9 frame are forgettable. Not exactly a complex ask here. Been trying to get their attention on this for years.

For about the same price as weaver, you can get a railking RS3 with way better technology & the same level of detail weaver offered. I think what ppl want (myself included) is an intricately detailed RS3 with full legacy control & road name specific details.

No, but I have now! Thank you so much! I just placed an order for the demonstrator color — pretty neat IMHO. TMCC, Railsounds, electro couplers . . . what’s not to like? Can hardly wait!
lionchief 2.0 SD50 using the old 90s tooling
or any spartan cab EMD in lc2 would make me happy
the Fenix Pacific was loaded with spartan cabs all the way up into the Mid-National merger in 2017.
how do i convince my folks to upgrade to lionchief 2.0 ? they still don't understand the difference and its frustrating as i've wanted to upgrade to more powerful engines as i like extremely heavy trains/ trains that might fail a basic lionchief after awhile.

Doug, thanks for the tip on eBay. Funny, I‘ve been looking for a Lionel Southern Pacific FM Trainmaster for over a year and nothing! I mention my interest in this thread and two pop up on the Bay and a OGR member pinged me with one! I bought the one from the OGR member. The members in this forum are great!

That wouldn’t be an RS-3. It would be an RSD-4.
Things I'd like to see - and buy. But aren't going to happen.
- True (not baby) Madison cars lettered for the Polar Express.
- A "Wolf" Legends of Lionel Madison car.
- Additional car types to fill out consists of different liveries. For example, add a baggage car, diner, and dome to the 2400 series small green with yellow stripe cars.

I will not say outright what steam locomotive are going to be in the catalog but there will be some scale 20th anniversary products that have not been seen since 2017, scale 8 coupled driving wheeled locomotives similar to the anniversary locomotive, scale 6 coupled driving wheeled locomotives, and 4 coupled driving wheeled locomotives. I do not know road names or any other specifics but these are the type of locomotives I do know.
