Many years ago I removed a vestibule from a baby Madison passenger car to convert it to an observation car, but to accomplish the task, I had to cut the internal tabs. Is there a known technique for popping off the vestibule without destroying the part or scarring the exterior seams? I hope to repaint a set of several cars I acquired in Pullman Green. I'm also looking for gold Pullman decals and am open to suggestions on the repaint process!
