hi guys i've got some updates for my railroad
first i got 2 new locomotives a rock island beep switcher and a postwar silver northern pacific center cab switcher
i also picked up a 1035 type transformer to run them
the rock island runs fine and is my new favorite engine but the northern pacific has an e unit issue where last time i tried to run it it got stuck in nuetral and wouldn't move
also i accidently dropped my early 90s aquarium car and the plastic trucks and drive mechanism completely shattered so i had to throw it out
i don't trust myself fixing the 44 tonner as i'm not mechanically inclined and my hands shake too much
it probably needs a good cleaning as it runs rough and the smell it lets out smells kinda burnt and not quite like the ozone smell i'm used to
i want to send it somewhere to get fixed ASAP but i don't trust fedex and my hobby shop uses fed ex
fedex is terrible i have literally seen them crush and throw stuff and if my 628 gets killed because of mishandling and disregard somebody gonna get sued as my 628 may be rare as its silver and i have only seen black or blue ones online
also these items were late birthday presents to myself
