I too am glad to see you have some inventory Walter. I hope people don't grumble about the pricing... no it's not blowout pricing like before, but absolutely reasonable in the current marketplace.

I think it's a good idea to split the dual packs of cars up too. Folks with smaller layouts might prefer cars with more variety of roadnames than car numbers.

And an unsolicited commerical as per the recent K-Line MP-15 thread. Anyone looking for a small loco that looks good on a smaller layout with traditionally sized cars, need not worry about the RMT S-4 or RDC units. These are an improvement over the K-Line versions not just visually but performance-wise also.

They run slower than did the K-Line versions, even with a typical Lionel transformer. And I never minded the stamped sheet metal ends of the original K-Line S-2, but I was pleasantly surprised how solid and durable the new end handrails are on the RMT S-4.

Hopefully everything will go as per your plans with the new products you have planned.

Walter:

Welcome back!

Best of luck in the future!

My Grandson Mason (age 6) was here last week and we enjoyed running a pair of your “bangs” pulling a long line of cars!

I gave him the NS version and he runs it regularly at his home layout in CA.

We are visiting our other Grandson, Lexin (age 5) who also has his own layout and we are bringing him one of your UP stock cars purchased last year when we visit him (also) in CA in a couple of weeks.

I look forward to seeing you at York in October!

Best regards,

Stan

Geat to hear you're back, Walter!  Look forward to seeing you in October at York.  Love the tongue-in-cheek attitude that you bring to his hobby.  By the way, my Beeple are getting lonely looking for some more of their friends.  There are more seats available in my passenger car fleet.  (For every chair there's an ***!)

Am I correct in thinking that these are a bit smaller than

the Atlas counter parts ?

Nice selection of cars and road names....

They are smaller, as they are O-27. I have 3 of the first run, and they are absolutely some of my favorite cars on my layout. I'm eagerly anticipating the next releases, as I have 2 or 3 picked out that I just gotta have. They are the best semi-scale woodside reefers on the market in my opinion.

Thanks for the input Scott.

I have a couple road names I'd like to get and they are becoming hard

to find in the Atlas brand. RMT picked out some good ones.

I'll have to give them a try....

Any idea what the pricing will be ?

I'm very happy! My wallet and bank account on the other hand...

Walter best of luck, at some point this year, I definitely want to get a few things.

For those who have never bought from RMT, they have an old school heft about them, cars have some modern details I've never seen like brake hoses. And I think the pricing that's up there now is VERY reasonable, no, not blow out, but still pretty good, I'm hankering for one of those S4s. I'm looking forward to the box cab too. We've been talking about "trains being too expensive", yes, RMT doesn't have TMCC, but if you want basic, well made trains, here you go.
