All:

I could swear I found a supplier for these in the Scenic Source List awhile ago.  Naturally, today I can't dredge it up (and I searched the list again).

Can anyone recommend a source for this type of transformer?  These are the transformers you find (1, 2, or 3 of them) near the tops of "telephone" poles.

Telephone Pole Transformers

Many thanks!

George, here's an old lame photo showing some Berkshire Valley parts up high and a couple Keil Line transformers on the platform. It took a long time to find more of the Keil Line ones so I bought all I could at the Chicago Meet this past March.

Hot Water posted Keil Line's info a while back:

E-Mail  Oscaler@aol.com

Fax (815) 728-0595

Address   6440 McCullom Lake Road, Wonder Lake, IL 60097

I don't know his part numbers but I might have his catalog around somewhere.

The other parts on here are from Tichy.

I have several packs with plans to use with Weaver telephone poles.

Thank you Leon!

I had checked the Berkshire Valley website but the item wasn't listed.  Could you tell me how many transformers come in a pack?

Thanks again.

George

Each pack has 3 transformers.

Thanks Norm!

Those are exactly what I'm looking for.  I hope I get a response from Keil.

Your response triggered another thought.  If you don't mind, take a look at my WTB thread on telephone poles.  https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/t...cale-telephone-poles

Do you know of anyone who makes a single, lighted, working telephone pole?  The new Lionel ones feature lights on either side (hardly prototypical unless you are lighting a median strip or a boulevard).  And using wire for the arm looks awful!

Thanks again.

Good luck!

Many thanks, Glenn!  I KNEW there was another vendor somewhere in the Scenic Sourcelist, but I couldn't find it again.

I'm surprised at how hard it's become to track these items down.  It's a real snipe hunt.  There's one vendor that's out of business.  Another doesn't answer their e-mail and I can't get a fax thru.  Sheesh!

Again, thank you!

George
