I have the model that was painted all black, it is now as it should be again painted with the late era gloss black front with Dulux trim and paired with a custom 12000 gallon tender to represent the last Baldwin built Ps4's

We've added this Premiere PS3 E8 and a Weaver B unit a few weeks ago to the roster. Have has a custom painted (non power) Tuxedo E6 #2800 for about 10 years with no proper dedicated motive power until now.

Formerly all black, lettered UP with hardware store vinyl letters.

Now in late paint scheme with a cut down 14000 gallon tender.

On the bench just after finishing in January.

That's one handsome locomotive! I really like the darker green than we see on most. My new E8 has a similar color and looks much nicer than the older Weaver B in my photos above.

Am sure most of you have been to the wonderful museum and facility in Spencer NC.  I came across this pic of me from a few years ago with #6900. What a beauty!  I have a renewed interest in her since recently acquiring a Premiere E8 model of her and wanted to share it with you.

Does anyone have the new Atlas models from the Train Loft with the special lettering?

Sam I had to have the same model, The NCTM is less then 2-miles from house.

The southern high nose GP-30 and the N&W GP-30 are also at the Museum!

That is a beauty as both a model and the real thing.  One of my favorite books is Don Ball Jr's. 'America's Colorful Railroads', and while he did not capture this Southern diesel, he did get many equally handsomely painted.
