I have a Weaver Reading G1 with TMCC from around 2005-ish that won't run.  When I first purchased it directly from Weaver it worked perfectly and ran well since then, but recently it has stopped moving altogether.  When I turn on track power, the headlight comes on as it should.  It also starts up properly using the TMCC remote.  The whistle, bell, crew talk, and all that other stuff works, but when I turn the knob to make the engine move, it stays completely still.  I don't think there is anything wrong with my TMCC system because my other TMCC engines all run fine.  I haven't done any serious investigation (i.e. opening the engine up) for hope that there was a more simple solution that i was overlooking.  If anyone has any ideas as to what is going wrong and any possible fixes, they would be greatly appreciated.  Photos of engine and box are attached in case you were curious.

Thanks.

I too have a Weaver engine that won't move. It is a C-630 Reading Lines diesel, it will act like it is starting but won't move. I am using an MTH Z-1000. Would a post war Lionel transformer be better? I had it working well with a post war KW about 3 weeks ago.  FYI; I replaced the original battery with an MTH PS-1 9 volt battery, charged the MTH battery first and checked it voltage, so I hope the battery held up, that was 2 months ago.
