Great idea, Drew!  Nice to know where we call home.  I'm located in the Mid Atlantic area (New Jersey to be specific).  Now don't think that we're all like the "Jersey Shore" crowd - far from it.  More like Tony Soprano's crowd!!

Great shop to visit if you're in this area is "The Hobby Shop" in Aberdeen, NJ - (MTH Superstore).

I don't want to be contrary, but the mid-atlantic usually consists of DE, MD, VA, and WV as well.  (I did vote using the existing map)

That said, I live in beautiful Frederick County, about 50 miles north of D.C. and 40 miles west of Baltimore.

Also, happen to be about 65 miles from York and hope to someday go there for that little train activity that I've heard so much about!

Pete, judging by your handle and avatar I hope you get to 6th street. I love 6th street, every time I'm near I have to go there.

I'm not a big 6th Street fan, too much of a zoo for this geezer anymore.  I'm an old time dance hall kind of guy.  More of a Broken Spoke/Armadillo type.  Armadillo's gone, Broken Spoke now gettin' squoze out by greedy developers.  The way of life.

Mid-Atlantic  region of the eastern United States comprising New York and New Jersey and Pennsylvania and Delaware and Maryland

I live in an Eastern Shore suburb of Mobile (Alabama) - but Drew, you should know this as you live in (west) Mobile...BTW, I ran out of Gold Brick chocolate topping tonight, so I have to head over your way where they sell it. Not really train related. Don't care.

My butter pecan ice cream is just naked without it.

I live an awful long way from York PA, but I have been there. Scary.
