Oh come on Thop.

I have a friend of mine who is from Salina, Kansas. I went and visited him and found Kansas to be absolutely beautiful. I helped work on his farm for a morning and the sight of standing on the plane watching the sun rise was one of the most majestic sights I have seen. The sky, the plains all seemed ablaze and it was beautiful.

You have every reason to be proud to live in Kansas

I'm a Philadelphia boy born and bred, but if you guys wont to see a great train watching town you have to go to Pittsburgh, Pa.

It's not that the trains look any better then any other location in the world but the way the city is nestled in the mountains and hills of Western Pennsylvaina it give you the feeling as if you shrunk down to 1/48 scale and you are waiting for your favorite toy train to come by.

It's hard to explain in words, because of the hills and valleys the forced perspective is as if you could reach out and pick up a train, truck or whatever that may be a mile away.

Of course I just came out of a two hour, four pitcher dinner with some friends in Hooters bar when I made this observation. So maybe my perspective may of been a little overly forced, but I thought it to be a town of many beautiful views.

Maryland must have seceded while I was getting a kidney stone removed yesterday.  Now according to the Map Maryland is in the South Atlantic Area.  I live in Havre de Grace at the mouth of the Susquehanna River.  A forty minute drive to M.B. Klines, 25 minutes to JusTrains of Delaware and one hour drive to York.  Close enough to make a couple hour drive to train shows in VA, PA, DE and NJ.
