Yes it is and the one with the Blank on is convincing. Great job Patrick.

Great scene Patrick.
That is some chain Junior is hauling off the workcar. I don't think I would like to get Junior UPSET with me.

Great shots Patrick, I need a break just watching them! And to show that not all my towns folk are out fishing or playing checkers, here's a couple shots of Santa Fe Men at Work in The Town Paradise. ;-) I'll leave the clever names to you Patrick!
And on the other side of town, it's getting late in the day for these Southern Pacific Rail workers!
Getting ready to load up the SP Daylight 5:15PM to San Francisco.
Doh, and just as I thought I had redeemed my little railroad town as hard working, Father and Son have gone fishing! Hey, gotta catch dinner, right?!

Patrick, I love the '48 Tucker (only 51 real Tuckers were made, and they fetch millions of dollars today)! Where did you find the model, very cool and unique! Once again, another surprise on your layout! Great scene, too!

Scott - thank for your complimentary words regarding my " men hard at work " photos! Btw - you have some great shots of folks by the tracks. I love the father/son fishing one too!!
Actually I have about 8 or so Tuckers in several colors. I purchase them at train shows, sometimes new, other times used. Around 1989, I saw an actual Tucker at a Automobile Museum that used to be in Strassburg, Pa. Preston Tucker was ahead of his time, a very forward thinker. His automobiles were wonderfully designed! It's too bad his company was short lived. Because I like Tuckers so much, I have a Tucker - Studebaker - VW dealership on my layout as a tribute to Preston Tucker and his terrific automobile.
Mr.Preston Tucker, dressed in a suit, takes his hat off to new customers.
A salesman in the showroom closes the deal on a brand new Tucker!

Thanks Dallas! Yes, Junior is someone not to be messed with for sure. Lol!

Thanks Dallas I can’t believe how they change.
A picture a day, for you Rio Grande fans.
FOR TODAY: A locomotive derailed when it was struck by a runaway loaded boxcar. The two collided as the boxcar, which was sitting on an industrial spur, began to roll toward the main. The car ran through the switch at the time a Patapsco and Back Rivers VO1000, on the main, was approaching the same switch. The boxcar also wound up on the ground but somehow managed to stay upright. The locomotive went over on a 45 degree angle. It took crews all morning to get this mess back on the rails. A huge front end loader was brought in to help right the locomotive.

Patrick, what a great story and photo! I have to add; NTSB arrives and is asking, "So who didn't set the brake on the box car, or is it defective"? Railroad management, "We're still investigating whether or not the brake was functioning per specifications, or if it was simply not set"! And so on for the next two weeks! LoL
Also, the railroad workers might need to use that front end loader to pull that red Ford pickup of the tracks, as it looks high centered.
You always get my imagination going Patrick, keep 'em coming! :-)
WOW great photos everyone! It took me awhile to go back and check them all out, so some of you might have just got a lot of likes from me! LOL
Partick, I know I can come here and always be entertained by what's going on in Patsburg! There is never a dull moment there!
Lee, love the B&W Photo!
Scott, You always have some nice stuff to add to this page! I like it all!
Rob, I really liked your video of your train story! Just wondering if you still live in Yakima?

Mike g. Thanks so much! You are always welcome to visit Patsburg!
FOR TODAY: Truck owner/operator Brewster McLeod, leaning against the fender of his new Mack B tractor, chats it up with Linwood James as Linwood moves a barrel to the back side of the loading platform. Ol Brew has completed another run of logs to the railroad and has a few more ahead of him before it's quitting time by golly! He's telling Linwood how much he likes his brand new Mack B tractor!
Meanwhile Hank Leslie and Morty Squires secure the loaded flat car of timber. Squeaky Wheeler gives hand signals to the operator of the big hook. Just another day on the railroad.
