AF wide gauge MTH Presidential set | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

At the weekend I picked up an MTH Presidential set. With the set came three additional cars. One of them appears to be an original that has been restored. The other two are by Richart, which I know very little about apart from a couple of articles on the web.

I would like to know a bit more about these two from Richart. Were they made as add ons for original sets as well as the MTH sets or did Richart produce the full set themselves with these to compliment them?

One of them has a plate on it saying 1966 - 1991, so I am guessing it was made in 1991 but I am not sure about the other one. I tried looking on the web but couldn't find any documented anywhere. Are these hard to find and do they have any additional value to say each individual MTH car? I enclose some pictures below.
