ALL SOUNDS AT ONCE

I have a new Weaver RS-11 with TMCC and ERR.  After a few minutes of running the sounds randomly starts appearing other then those that are supposed to be sounding and then finally they all sound all at once.  I thought it might be an antenna problem so I enlarge the antenna  with no success. I then tried to run the locomotive with DCS turned off (thinking there might be some kind of interference) and that did not help either. Occasional, I run the locomotive with the sound off and it ruins for a while and then stops, and has to be rebooted. Any ideas?

It is possible that one of the boards or even the sound chip could be loose in its mountings. Have you tried removing and re-seating the boards and/or any connectors to them? If you have a chip puller, it might also be worthwhile removing and refitting the sound chip. Don't attempt this if you don't have the correct puller though, as it's easy to damage the contacts or the chip by using the wrong tools.
