Thanks. It's a nice locomotive. My Premier ATSF 2900 class Northern is still my favorite though. Makes the 3751 class look tiny in comparison. The 2900s were just imposing all around. Later design and larger locomotive/tender will do that.

Not much better then coming home from a long day on the railroad. Walk in knowing my new lionel dockside was delivered. The wife already had dinner ready and had the box opened. As soon as we finished it was down stairs and test it.

I won an auction for this Lionel Semi-Scale PRR box car last month on EBay. It’s part of the semi-scale freight set that Lionel produced in the 1990’s. I just won another auction for the B&O hopper last weekend. So now all I have to find is the Shell tank car at a fair price to complete the set. I’m running my PW 2555 Sunoco tank car in the consist until I find the Shell tank car.

ncdave - I thought I had a post war Shell tanker for you - but I have 2 Sunoco 3 domes, 1 Sunoco 2 dome and a single dome Lionel tanker in orange. I am moving more toward scale so the post war stuff doesn't fit in anymore. Just sits wrapped up in a box. If there is something else - send me an email. I am tired of dealing through the bay. Jeff

Lionel SP GS2 arrived today! I like this engine a lot more than I expected.

Chris that sure is one sharp looking engine! It is going to look amazing going around on your layout!

My latest best find is the early Lionel 33 with 6 wheels and two no 12 early short hoppers - 1911 - 1912. A new antique store opened and it was sitting on a shelf in the middle of the store. Best part it was $85.00 for the three pieces, bad part it was painted and someone changed the frame. The motor is original.
