It looks like the Sante Fe F7’s have arrived at my hobby shop, so, when they get into my man cave, I’ll place pictures…. Wow… Happy Railroading Everyone
I have been looking for months to find a good condition silver and gray 2023 dummy to go with my nearly pristine looking 2023 engine. Hasn't been easy with something 72 years old. Finally found one that fit my budget.
The condition when I opened the package suprised me. The picture doesn't do it justice. Wheels show almost no wear with paint and lettering in excellent condition.

@ScottV posted:just picked up my Erie hobo car from Lionel... nicely done.
one of the sound bytes is a copy of dialog on the kitchen car. ("best wiener i've ever tasted")
What a great fun boxcar and it actually looks good for a Lionel model Scott. I really like the sound feature. Does the boxcar need to be on a specific piece of track for the sound feature ? ( no matter, still a unique car Scott ) Thanks for sharing.
( I was disappointed with Lionel's PE hot chocolate passenger car that I wanted to purchase . They could keep the silhouetted window figures but I wish I could talk to Lionel about having sound , maybe something like the HOT CHOCOLATE song being played. )
@Dallas Joseph No special track is required. The car is equipped with an ON/OFF switch, MIN/MAX switch, and a volume knob. On the MAX setting, the car plays hobo harmonica & random dialogs while standing still, or rail sounds clickity-clack / wheel squeal when in motion. Moving the MIN/MAX switch to MIN silences the hobo sounds. Sample of sounds while in motion in this video clip.

My customized 3482 operating milk can boxcar came today. I think I want some Icecream now.
To answer the questions I have had, this appears to be a one-off customization. It is well done, but looking closely it does not appear to be a factory customization. I tried to contact the seller for more information, but got no reply.

"I want one! How did you get it?"
Email me and I can get you details. It may be a one off.
My collection is complete - well, at last those pieces of Monopoly rolling stock I'm interested in.
For some reason I don't care about the "street" named boxcars, but love the variety of the "special" spaces rolling stock.
Here goes:

Monopoly 'Water Works' Tank Car (6-26493):
Monopoly Auto Loader (6-26675):
Monopoly® Mint Car (6-29624):

Monopoly Caboose (6-36646):
Monopoly Luxury Tax Income Tax Mint Car (6-52158):
Monopoly Electric Company Transformer Car (6-52159):
(I have the white tips for the insulators; couldn't get them on right now; will put them on later)
Monopoly Free Parking Flatcar w/2 Autos (6-52184):

I agree that the Postwar Lionel 736 Berkshire is wonderful; got 4 of them. Then, I got the magnificent 773 and also got hooked on command control including MTH PS2 and 3 steamers running on DCS and a couple of very nice LC+ steamers, so now I hardly ever run my Postwar Berkshires.
Might sell a couple of them down the road. Arnold

Maybe one day I'll get a VisionLine steamer that fills the whole house with smoke, and sell all of my other steamers. LOL, Arnold

Haha. I couldn't imagine. As much as the 736 and my 681 smoke I only run one at a time. The 773 is on the bucket list of holy grail purchases as I call them. Have 2 young ones we're saving for college and savings accounts. Couldn't justify that or 700e,763e purchase for a decade or so. Lol

Love it, great colors and it is cool as stated.

For the last 6 months, I’ve been helping my brother after some serious surgery (was supposed to be 6 weeks!!!), so I haven’t been near my layout, but that hasn’t stopped me from buying One of the major benefits to having a relationship with a local train store is great service. In my case, since I’ve only made it home every couple of weekends, so when anything I’ve pre-ordered comes in, or if I see something I’m interested in, Grzyboski’s has held it for me till I get back, saving the cost and damage concerns from shipping. Here are a couple of the items I just picked up… I. Must. Stop. Buying. Trains…
First up, the two C Liners I ordered came in. They are really sharp with some beautiful detail.
I really like the placement of the various switches… the rear of the unit is hinged and easily folds down allowing easy access.
A couple of months before the LIRR C Liner came out, the 21” passenger cars arrived. Due to their length, I only purchased a two-pack, so they will be a short commuter train. The spacing between cars is pretty close, so the rubber vestibules almost touch. And you’ve got to love Dashing Dan!!!
Here’s a short video of my LIRR Scoot!!!
