Awhile ago I asked whats the best glue to glue diecast. I got a majority resoponse of loctite 380, which I did use. It does the magic! I was also told to use reinforcement so the steps stay sturdy.  After I bumped it with my knuckle I saw what people were saying!  I used 1/4" "keys" for the supports. Yes the drop step is still bent crazy but it was much worse. I could go farther but the diecast on the broken step were starting to crack, and did not want to risk breaking anymore.

How it broke? I was told from a friend (who im repairing for) that his "brother in law" ran in full speed around a curve and off the layout. Note the bent headlight! Hopefully this will hold for awhile...
