I had the pleasure of spending the day with a great guy and a superb craftsman. I didn't know he lived so close to me.

What a great time I had.  Alan's shop is beautiful and is so organized and I had the privilege of seeing his work up close. I must say I was very, very impressed - he has hands of gold. Everything in the shop is labeled and so neat, he has the perfect shop to create his beautiful structures. I learned so much from Alan today, so I thank you Alan for a great day.  Here are a few photo's of his shop and pops buildings in the making. ENJOY!!!!!!!

Thanks, Alex

Ed,

You must not have a wife that follows you around with a vacuum cleaner like I do. I got used to it when I am in the house, so when I go out to the garage I can't help myself but to clean up all the time LOL

I had a very nice time showing Alex the world of modeling with plastic. Alex was able to come over during the day so it gave me a good reason to play hookey from my real job. Thank you Alex.

Alex, congratulations. I know how you feel. That would be quite an honor to have. One week a few years ago, I had the great honor and pleasure to follow Mike Reagan around. I learned a lot.

Surprising how much they know and how much they both are willing to share in this hobby. As they say, this is THE WORLDS GREATEST HOBBY.

Alan (leavingtracks),

Just get on route 95 and head North. Or better yet, jump on the Amtrak Silver Meteor or Silver Star. I can pick you up at the Metropark station. It is only about 15 minutes from me.

Roger, Mike, Don and Mr. Jones,

Thank you for the compliments. I have had great joy in building structures for the o-scale community. It is nice when I see pictures posted of structures I made in place on the layouts. I have met many wonderful individuals through this hobby.

Thanks to all

Ed ,you have to see it to believe it, neat as can be.

Pops, your structures are looking awesome.

Roger, I learned so much from Alan

Mike R, Alan and I can build an EMPIRE !!!!!

Don, he certainly is a master

Alan, would love to see you in this parts sometime soon.

Don, we really had a great time together, and thanks for the kind words.

Thanks again, Alex

Brian thank you. It is on the Big side but to house 6 ABBA units of PA's E-8's & 6's, F-7's & 3's it does take some space. O also have the switches inside. Hope to keep some dust off the units also. Alan is working on adding the Yard Towerfor the Yard Master up on the rear corner of this shop.

Brian thanks again and stay safe with your snow storm. We had only 5" more last night but have a nice bright sunny day today.

Bill....a float plane???  another one of those gawl darned contraptions!!!  LOL!!

Hey you guys and gals where the snow is falling....take some pictures!  It has been in the 60's here but a little chilly today.  Think it is around 50 right now!!  We closed up the office early today so that we could play a round or two of golf on our Big Creek Golf course.  (for you golfers, look it up online) Yep...we may not know how to get out of this here place but we do have a few amenities to keep us busy!!

Alan
