No problem. On your IPad you should find one of the icons on the screen is marked “App Store” tap on it to open the store. Then you will see a search icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Tap on that and then type in “Lionel LCS”.

It should then show the LCS app and then tap on the “Get” icon.

hope that helps

Nick

Finally I was able to download the Lionel App to my Ipod and then I install the Lionel WiFi module as per Lionel manual (very simple installation), the software in my Legacy Base is 1.6, set the switches to access point and Base, "Settings" app in my Ipod locate the "Lionel LCS 31F8, waited for the connection to activate and launch the LCS-aware application to control my layout, the red and the green LED on the WiFi module came ON for a second and the red LED went Off right away and the green LED blinks and blinks and keep blinking, never stay ON and a little window show in my Ipod: "Failed to Connect", try again and the same message, at this point I don't know what to do, very frustrate, I am disappointment with Lionel WiFi, does anybody knows the solution?

When I first installed the LCS module on my layout, I had a similar problem. I believe that the ipad's mail application was causing the disconnection to the LCS system. It's been a while so I don't recall the details but it may have had something to do with the mail app constantly trying to log onto our home's wifi.

I ended up using an older ipad, in which I disabled the email account, and it has worked fine.
