Hey Patrick, I always enlarge your pictures, because your attention to detail is awesome, and there he was between the uncoupled cars.
Morning guys, what great photos and stories to go along with them!
Pat, Ted and Curt you guys are really turning this page into a fun place to come and visit and relax! I am sorry I have nothing for you as the CEO has been keeping me busy!
I hope you all have a great week!

John, the grocery clerk at Bob’s Country Store, is having a great day so far with the fresh produce sale. The young blond girl he is waiting on has been one of a dozen great customers so far. Unfortunately, his morning is about to change. On his left and out of his eyesight, they like to sneak up on you, comes Bulah Ballbreaker, the customer from ****. She will squeeze everything, complain about everything, try to make him look stupid, then either walk away without purchasing or buy a quarter of a pound of something. Doesn’t matter, because she will have succeeded in raising John’s blood pressure and ruining his day and she will go home happy.

FOR TODAY: It's Monday morning and Chucky, whose days are numbered before returning to school, is exploring along the tracks in back o town.
Climbing over a scrap pile Chucky discovers these men unloading pumps. Chucky thinks to himself .. "Those pumps must be for the new water treatment plant being built over near the reservoir."
Finally Chucky has made it to the top of the pile and has this view.
"Whew! They are some really big and heavy pumps!" ... Chucky mumbles under his breath.
"Hmmm. Looks a like some sort of boss walking over on the other side of the boxcar. Better git out of here before I get in trouble!" Chucky thinks to himself as he scrambles back over the pile to make his exit. Now if he can only remember where he left his bike?!

Patrick, Chucky deserves to get so close as it seems like he has been spending all summer there! I love the story about Clancy!

No problem good place for trucking company logo!
The mechanics in the High Bank Creek Engine Shop are checking out the brand new GP38 that just came in. They are wondering how many cars they can pull with the EMD 2,000 HP diesel.Meanwhile the guys out in the yard are welding up some equipment to attach to the new diesel for specific jobs they will use it for. The engineer and conductor are sitting on the benches trying to hurry the work, so they can get the new diesel out and play, oops, I mean get to work.

Great shots, Curt!
Curt - I like your High Bank Shop!! Did you build it?
FOR TODAY: Although the hot August sun is reigning supreme, the local fuel oil dealer is stocking up on its' heating oil supply now. This tank truck is shuttling oil, two thousand gallons at at time, from these tank cars to the company's storage tanks a few miles away. Buford and J.D. monitor the transfer process as truck driver Otto, standing at the front of the truck, twiddles his thumbs.

Hey Patrick, yes, I built it from scratch. I plan on putting roof ventilators on it and I need to put some black paper behind the brick. Notice how the interior lights shine thru the brick on the end wall. Those Woodland Scenic lights are bright. Curt
