Tin Plate is a a serious sickness that I have been infected with sense I was a young boy, this particular Marx Army Train is just fantastic! Tin Plate Trains are like Best Double Guns, you got to understand what you are looking at, before you purchase.

Like I said, I haven't been 'infected' but I get the appeal. I'm not into 3-rail at all but if I was, I'd probably be into stuff like this. Just ditch the whole 'model of real life' completely and go with pure toy value. It looks like something people would have played with before WW2.

Then it is a cliff not a slippery slope!. For scale I have a fascination with prewar scale trains as in "doorstops". Not toy like and yet not new either. All fun in their own way. Heck I like your shots of your narrow gauge as well, just beautiful work!
