Where does one find the highth of a silo? They are very tall. Maybe between 14-18inches? That would make the elevator building even higher.
The demensions on the Kober 315 kit are 24"L x 8"D x 24"H
from the photo looks like silo may be between 18-20 inches on that model with the conveyor on top an extra couple inches. .

I found this video a bit interesting as the author rebuilds a Kober kit.

I used Pringles cans, and the the large Gatorade cans for my oil storage facility. I have not decaled them but at least from a little distance they look just fine after a couple coats of white spray paint. And a lot cheaper than trying to buy a more realsitic oil storage facility too. The Pringle & Gatorade cans are to the left behind the Shell station.

Since we're discussing containers other than Pringles, here's a few photos from my first layout of my diesel fuel storage tank.  It is made from a Mortons Salt container turned upside down and some Plastruct pieces.  The sign was made on the computer and printed on adhesive backed label.

The Elevator would be about 200 to 300 feet tall.

The silos would be about 125 to 145 feet tall.

The facility, featuring 2 million bushels of storage and a loading area big enough for a 100-car train, is the largest construction project in the history of Jacksonville (Illinois, USA).

Once constructed, the height of elevator will be at 195 feet (60 metres). Six concrete silos will be erected; each silo will stand 145 feet (44m) tall and store about 150,000 bushels. Two steel tanks, each 90 feet (27m) tall will hold a capacity of 500,000 bushels.

Once the cleaning tower was completed, the contractor did back-to-back concrete slips of two large annexes. The first was a 12-pack of 35-foot-diameter silos, each 125 feet high. The other was a 14-pack of 35-foot-diameter silos.
