I tried search function and could not locate the answer.
I would like to upgrade my account to digital subscriber, when doing so it ask me to create an account. I would just like to upgrade my current account. Do I need to purchase the Digital subscription then ask to have it attached to my current account? Please advise.

I think you are confusing your OGR Forum Member Account with a Subscription account. The two are not the same.
To get a Digital Subscription, CLICK HERE. Since you don't currently have a subscription with us, you will have to create your account, but this is your SUBSCRIPTION account, not your OGR Forum Membership account. Once you purchase your Digital Subscription, your OGR Forum Account will automatically update to show you as a Digital Subscriber.

IMO the Digital Account is such a huge Bang for the Buck. It's so nice just to log on and have the magazines at my fingertips via an iPad along with the extra Digital Content. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Are you able to down load digital (magazine) content to the ipad?
I have been thinking of getting a digital account, but would want to be able to down load for reading on airplanes

I do it all the time. I downloaded 3 issues for an overseas trip I took last month. I also download them to an external hard drive for keeping. Takes up a lot less space than the paper version. That was an issue for me which is why I went digital. I know some folks just like the feel of the magazine.

Actually with the Digital Copy you get more. Additional "extra" pages on most editions. Sometimes videos are included as well. Every now and then you'll get a Digital Extra that OGR has produced.
Plus there are back issues, digital books and article reprints in the OGR Digital Library that go back to December 2009. A Digital Subscription gets you access to all of that!
There will be several extra pages and a short video clip in the Run 288 Digital.
