Not familiar with this scene of your layout sir.    Nice Camelback and nice composition in your photo Arnold.

Thanks, Dallas. For the river I used the technique on the YouTube video: Marklin of Sweden: Toilet Paper plus White Glue Equals Realistic Water.

I had a great time using that technique for modeling the water. I bought the docks at The Big E in Springfield, MA in January.

FOR TODAY:  WIth bell clanging, brakeman Amos McCoy rides the front step of an 0-8-0 as the engine slowly backs up so it can slip into a siding.  Once tucked away on the siding Amos will align the switch so the J class can pass by on the lead track to the passenger station where its' train awaits.  Sneezy Clompford, standing beside the pipes, holds his lantern high up signaling the engineer of the J to hold still for the time being.  ..... just another day on the railroad! Patrick, as always...great scenes above, and congratulations on your article and pictures in the recent O Gauge magazine.  Your layouts realistic scenes and themes are incredible pieces of work and creativity.  I showed my wife your article and pics...she especially enjoyed all the snow scenes and holiday spirit that your pictures brought to life. Thanks for all your efforts!
