So I have 2 Fastrack TMCC switches that sometimes just stop working in command mode but work fine from the switch remote. If I put my hand above the switch it works fine so I guess it is an earth ground signal issue. What is the best way to fix this that is inconspicuous?

Open it up and re-position the antenna wire. You can also lay an earth ground wire next to the switch to give it better TMCC signal reception, either will probably help.
Thanks John good advice as usual. I opened it, re-positioned the antenna and it works flawlessly now.
