I am at the point of buying & wiring in some general lighting & more focused lighting - like track lighting - for my train room area.  As you can see it's a finished basement but dark as a cave.  I did buy some LED panels (Metalux RT24FP) ,as suggested by Rattler I believe, but I also want to attach a strip or two of track lighting to the boxed-in steel I-beam seen in the photo, the layout will be on the left side of the boxed-in beam.  So my question is what LED track lighting fixtures and bulb combinations how you found that give good coverage, are dimmable and yield a warm light ?   My Lowe's has a ltd selection &IMG_0369 eBay searches yield a fire-hose of info.

I used track lighting from WAC Lighting http://www.waclighting.com (they don't sell direct to consumer but you can see full line and find retailers on their website).  They have many different style light heads along with several different track systems in a variety of price ranges.  Lights are LED, various wattage and some are dimmable.  Purchased my initial system from Hite Company.  I see you're in Snyder County, not sure what part or how close you might be to Lewistown, but they have a store there.  When I wanted to add additional heads, I ordered online (saved a few dollars).  The electrician doing my installation suggested I not use track lighting from a big box store when using them for this purpose.  Did cost me more than big box lighting but I believe it well worth the cost.
